Friday once again

I have been having some realistic dreams as of late. Of course, hours later I can’t remember most of them. Various workplaces from the past are the general locales. Various floors and staircases in old houses. I don’t know what’s what and that’s how things usually go.

Mike’s been at his crib the past couple of days but now he’s back in Hoboken, at his Dads crib. Bill and I are Mike’s Dads and he is our son. He just phoned to let me know that he arrived safely. Tomorrow promises to be a rendezvous with Bill. He might just drive through Hoboken, not just to see me but rather have me hand off a new GPS. I’m just the courier, I guess, the middle man.

Typing once again on the iPad. Yesterday was a bit of a nightmare trying to get Google Drive and Google Docs to cooperate and work together. It was not to be and I had to dictate what I had written since one was not working with the other and it was a pain in the ass.

It’s another gray day, and the temperature is supposed to drop this weekend, which I think the bike riding will be done for the year. At my desk I look out the window and see what used to be a modern building which currently has balconies that are sagging and falling down.

No collapses yet, but some apartments have barricades preventing residents from using the balconies. There is a man who does go out on his for a cigarette since there’s no barricade preventing him from doing so.

Dictation time. I’m outside having a small cigar. Last night before I went home I went to the largest cigar but it’s much too damp out and there’s always the possibility that it might rain at any time.

As I usually do most weeks I ordered some food from Wendy’s and I usually order online and it gets to me in an email telling me to hit this button when I’m at the restaurant and nine times out of 10 I do just that

Most of the time there’s a problem with that but I still go in and my order has gone through there’s just a problem with the app. Today the order has not gone through and I was on the phone with Wendy’s customer service for about 20 minutes.

They informed me that the order might be refunded but it just cannot be done through this customer service person who I was talking to at lunch time in Wendy’s and you imagine how loud that was.

It is very quiet in the office of the fruit stand once more. I’ve eaten enough in the morning and I’m not hungry now and I was only ordering food because it was time to eat not because I was hungry. There are snacks that I can still avail myself of should the need arise.

And right now a song by a singer named Hillary called kinetic is playing in my head the song is about 43 years old. And I remember it like it was yesterday. It was produced by Stephen Hague who later produced New Order and for some reason I think Hillary was from Pittsburgh or at least Western Pennsylvania
