Yesterday was Monday again. Some snow fell. And it was cold. Bill and I strolled the streets of Hoboken. Too cold for an extended jaunt so we trimmed it somewhat.
Today is Tuesday and it seems to be even colder. No snow just a cold north wind, howling outside the window. I went outside for a few errands, all bundled up in my coat that doesn’t necessarily breathe, it keeps the heat in. But somehow the cold got through the coat and I felt it. It hastened my steps.
No one I knew was on the streets. I passed a man sitting in the cold shade outside a bagel shop. He didn’t ask for anything until I passed him. There is a store across from city hall called Natural & Plus. They have the best whole wheat rolls in Hoboken and they’re cheaper than every other place. I picked up three rolls and backtracked to the gent sitting in the cold asking for money. I gave him some money and told him not to stay out too long. He said he wasn’t planning to.
A hasty walk back home after seeing my friend Imram in the cigar shop. I have been getting the cheapos since money has been tight lately. Imram does not mind the cold, especially when he is in a well-heated cigar store. And he’ll be driving home so his exposure to the cold will be somewhat limited though it will involve sitting in the car while it warms up.
Last night Bill and I watched Brilliant MInds starring Zachery Quinto. I like the show but Bill really likes the show. We’ve caught every episode and last night was the season finale which I thought off since it was only January. I’m not a network programmer so I really could not explain any reasoning behind the scheduling.
Today I helped Bill with an audition that he was asked to submit for. My role is supposed to be a tough female police officer but since I am not female I just played it as a tough male cop. It only took a few takes, each take was under a minute so it was no trouble at all and something to do to help Bill.
Not much is planned for tonight with me and Bill. Right now Bill is editing his recording while The Monkees TV show plays on the telly. We are having pizza tonight from the spot across the street from us. I signed up with their app so we got a good deal on it. It will be the last time I go outside today to pick up the pies.
Our usual pizza joint is very good but I told Bill that the pizza might be cold when it gets delivered. The pizzeria across the street would cut down on travel time and it’s supposed to be picked up in an hour.
Mike and I will probably meet up later this week and shoot some more photos like we did last weekend. That was fun for the both of us and I’m pretty sure Mike is looking forward to it as much as I am.
Are we a throuple?
